As a follow up to Art Night, we organized an afternoon of music. For unrelated reasons it couldn't happen in person, but I still ended up recording the set.

Here's the final version of the set, as well as demos I recorded earlier, trying to refine the concept and my transitions.

I'm really proud of how this set turned out, I think I managed to capture the momentum quite well, despite being a marathon. It's has the same "Art Night" vibes, but keeps it more fun and danceable, there's lots of reggaeton and trap, synthpop, rap and hip hop, definitely something that will keep people dancing outside for what was the last good fall afternoon of 2024. A musical potpourri.

The urban sound is core to this set, DJ Shadow had just visited Ottawa and this was meant to set as the background of a mural grafitti painting.

This set is the precursor of Neoperreo Vol 1 that fully embraces the reggaeton sound.
